stay tuned for upcoming workshops…here are some that took place in 2025
Together, we’ll shape and mold clay into vessels— a container of your making to affirm your creative power, hold your prayers and nurture your inner sanctuary. Through shared ritual, we will bless our vessels , transforming them into a talisman of support to carry forward on our path. Come, and quite literally, fill your cup—with intention, beauty, and the potency of your magic.
Join us for a nourishing day of creativity, sacred resourcing, connection and care. This full-day retreat, Tending To Our Sacred Vessel, is designed for community and earth-tending folx who give generously to the people, places, and causes they love—and who are ready to receive in return. We will be amidst the energy of the Harvest Moon and its invitation around gratitude, culmination and transition.
Together, we’ll step into a co-created space where ritual, embodiment, and creative practice invite us to reconnect with and honour the sacred vessel of our being—this wise, wild body-spirit that holds so much. Through a rich weaving of eco-somatic practices, creative expression, storytelling, and ritual, we’ll explore how to stay resourced—drawing from the earth and the ethers—as we tend to our lives, our gifts, and one another. Our intention is to cultivate a space where inner wisdom is honoured and where we can attune in nourishing and playful ways as we move into the more grounded energies of fall and beyond.
“One day soon we will honour and respect the unique gifts that we bring and we will use that as a fundamental principle of how we relate - and that is harmony.” - Elder Albert Marshall
We appreciate that we are in times of great transition, a necessary passage that invites us to come into greater equilibrium, balance and harmony with ourselves, one another and in our living relationship with the earth and all sentient kin. The paradigm from which we are emerging is one that created many entanglements across communities, lands and ultimately our relationships. It is ripe time to honour the ways in which we are inherently interwoven and orient to the opportunity that it offers - appreciating that our stories and liberation are bound up in one another and the earth that sources us at our roots.
As you may recall, the seed for this gathering - Entangled Roots - was planted in a conversation between Elder Albert Marshall and Bradley Daye. They imagined a space where Mi’kmaw and African Nova Scotian folks could come together to acknowledge this entangled history and build solidarity for the future. Since then the invitation has widened to include all those rooted in Mi’kma’ki who share a love for its peoples and its sacred lands and waters. The gathering is a unique moment for Mi’kmaq, African Nova Scoian, people of colour and & allied communities to come together in connection, healing and nurturance of our sense of belonging to one another and the earth.
